Hand ‘N Hand Child Enrichment Center recognizes the importance of emergent literacy, including letter recognition, phonics, phonemic awareness, and a rich vocabulary. Research clearly shows the correlation between mastering these concepts during the Pre-Kindergarten year and successful early reading.
Our VPK children are immersed in language, math, science, and social studies.
Fine and gross motor skills, dramatic arts, music, and conversational Spanish will give your child a well-rounded early Education.
Our approach to learning generates eagerness, curiosity, and creativity. Our hands-on environment encourages critical thinking skills, problem solving, inventiveness, independence, and a time for reflection each and every day. Both teacher-directed and student-directed learning opportunities are incorporated in our in-depth lesson plans.
Our team of professional teachers is sensitive to social and emotional readiness that is critical to a child’s transition to Kindergarten. In order to build strong self-concepts, self-control, and strong character, healthy relationships with peers and adults are modeled in our classrooms.
Our VPK program exceeds the Florida Sunshine Standards for four and five-year old children. We are proud of the research-based curriculum we use, including the addition of the DLM Express curriculum, which concentrates on early literacy and Kindergarten Saxon Math which focuses on early mathematical principles.
Igniting young children’s imagination on their journey to educational excellence.
